Job Description

The FP&A Analyst is a strategic finance partner responsible for driving financial planning forecasting and performance analysis across the organization. This role supports the closing process, annual budget, and provides key insights and decision support to senior leadership leveraging data modeling dashboards and scenario analysis to inform short- and long-term financial strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills experience with Power BI and NetSuite and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Utilize knowledge of accounting and/or financial principles by reviewing, reconciling and consolidating submitted financial data of complex scope on a routine basis; collaborating with cross-divisional teams on the accurate and timely resolution of outstanding issues.May provide a contribution to close processes on a routine basis.Provide essential contributions to the efficacy of operations through identification, analysis and maintenance of data; supporting management in the development and implementation of process improvements and initiatives.May participate in process reviews, business process analyses and internal control testing; ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Support components of the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes including coordination with department leaders and consolidation of inputsPerform financial and variance analysis identifying trends risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.Support executive reporting by preparing monthly financial packages KPIs and management presentations.Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate operational data into financial impacts and provide meaningful insights.Assist in the creation of automated reporting solutions using Power BI or Tableau to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.Serve as a key resource for ad hoc analysis working closely with leadership to answer strategic questions and model outcomes.Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the organization's productivity system supporting operational and financial performance tracking. Job Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance Accounting Economics or a related field.

Experience

3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis preferably in healthcare or a related industry.Proficiency in Power BI with the ability to build dashboards and data models.Experience with NetSuite or willingness to learn new financial systems quickly.Strong Excel skills including advanced formulas pivot tables and data analysis tools.Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and communicate financial information clearly.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.


Preferred Skills

Experience in healthcare finance productivity reporting or cost analysis.

Familiarity with data visualization best practices and business intelligence tools.

Knowledge of FP&A methodologies such as driver-based planning or zero-based budgeting.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:  No supervisory responsibilities.

Work Conditions: This position will work in a variety of settings, e.g. office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Requires prolonged sitting. Requires bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crouching, crawling and/or stretching from seated or standing positions. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate medical equipment, frequently operates a keyboard, telephone, copier, calculator and other office equipment. Manual dexterity and coordination necessary to operate office equipment, telephone, keyboard, copier and calculator. Requires close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust visual focus, hearing and smelling. Must be able to communicate information via telephone or computer. Requires moderate to intense concentration due to complexity. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
