The day-to-day Day to day ownership of budget, forecast, and projections, own financial processes Prepare monthly reports and presentations to ensure the correct visibility of YTD results and understand main drivers and variances vs budgets and forecasts Provide financial updates to budget and forecast owners each period, highlighting and investigating main variances Provide insights into the key drivers and KPI’s of the business results Identify trends and providing recommendations to support business decision-making Prepare and suggest necessary journal entries to accounting team Perform comprehensive profitability analysis for new projects and new brand launches Build strong working relationships with key business partners Load forecast and budget in Hyperion Additional control submissions, including quarterly reports and significant commitments (All are informing, providing consultation, executing budgets and forecasts) What you'll need 2+ years’ experience in finance roles in the Mexican telecommunications, cable television, or broadband services industries Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, and another quantitative discipline Strong FP&A skills, forecasting, budgeting, and S&OP process desired Intermediate English (oral and written) Expertise in Excel and Microsoft Office Highly organized with strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy Self-starter with ability to work independently while understanding the importance of elevating questions/concerns promptly What will help you on the job ERP proficiency, ideally SAP / Hyperion / Oracle / Power BI CPC / CPA or equivalent Prior U.S. public company and multi-national experience EEO Statement Viasat is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, seeking to create a welcoming and diverse environment.
