Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Foundry Helper – Pour Deck to join their team. As a Foundry Helper, you will be part of the Foundry Operations supporting the production of high-quality metal castings. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to follow instructions accurately, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Foundry Helper – Pour Deck

Location: Chester, IL

Pay Range:

Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

Prepare pour molds by placing weights and/or metal frames to maintain mold integrity during casting. Remove weights and frames once the metal has solidified. Brush off compressed carbon from molds to expose cast parts. Transfer finished parts to designated carts for the grinding department. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What's Needed?

Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable working in high-temperature environments. Basic hand dexterity and grip strength for handling tools and mold components. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
