Foundations Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Foundations Manager oversees foundation relationships for RiseBoro Community Partnership. The ideal candidate will manage an effective foundation giving program's planning, organization, and implementation. This individual also directs all aspects of successful institutional giving, including prospecting, stewardship, restricted and unrestricted funding, grant writing, and relationship management.
The ideal candidate must be highly organized with excellent attention to detail and deadlines. Exceptional writing, analytical, and research skills are essential. Candidates should have some related experience, preferably with grant writing experience at a non-profit organization. A familiarity with project and organizational budgets and database management is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
+ Maintain and Grow Existing Foundation Grants:
+ Evaluate current foundation grant strategies and, with the Director of Institutional Giving, develop and execute a growth plan for the next three to five years based on organizational priorities and future funding goals.
+ Maintain the calendar of solicitation, stewardship, and reporting requirements for foundation funders.
+ Oversee reporting and solicitation of foundation funders that adhere to grant guidelines and milestones.
+ Build Overall Strategy and Associated Fundraising Goals:
+ Work with internal stakeholders to identify funding opportunities aligned with Foundation giving.
+ Build relationships to identify and execute other stewardship opportunities for these donors to encourage sustained support and ongoing trust.
+ Prospect and engage new funders through research and networking.
+ Strengthen Internal and External Processes and Systems:
+ Collaborate with program staff to shape proposals that support and further the mission of RiseBoro.
+ Write proposals, reports, and acknowledgments for all foundation funders.
+ Work across departments, particularly finance and program teams, to ensure compliance with grant terms and restrictions and to develop budget documents and solicitation materials.

+ Ability to create compelling pitch decks and materials.
+ Strong presentation skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and complete projects successfully as planned.
+ Ability to work with diverse constituents, both internally and externally.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills; self-confident and articulate; motivated self-starter.
+ Computer literacy, comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Strong organizational skills with proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks, work well under pressure, and deliver against tight deadlines.
+ Keen attention to detail, high-quality output, and responsive communications.
+ Ability to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
+ A track record of working well with colleagues and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ 3-5 years of relevant, meaningful experience as a grant writer and/or institutional fundraiser
