If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.** **Foundation Strategy & Ops Lead** **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Lead and facilitate the Corn and Soybean E2E Foundation teams in partnership with RCP Crop Leads; + Partner with SPI and pipeline readiness teams to improve performance metrics such as sterility, GAIN, producibility, and usable units; + Collaborate with operational teams across sites to architect an operational framework ensuring effective team collaboration and clear business outcomes; + Support PS operational support teams to advance partnerships with Breeding, focusing on Service Level Agreements for Gen 0 handoffs; + Identify critical focus areas within foundation operations to enhance margin, cash flow, quality, and overall operational performance; + Define and implement network-level production strategies, considering mainland and winter operations to optimize network performance; + Address and improve quality performance across operations with short, mid, and long-term solutions; + Participate in product launch teams across corn and soy, ensuring foundation operations are well-resourced and collaborate effectively; + Develop financial analysis and models to drive future opportunities and critical decision-making; + Execute the SBP process with Crop Leads, Product Management, and Planning, translating outputs into operational execution; + Implement best practices in foundation operations through collaboration with Commercial Production and Strategic teams. **WHO YOU ARE** Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: + BS/BA degree in Agronomy, Business, Breeding, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; + Ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups to enable outcomes; + Demonstrated strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; + Ability to travel to sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: + 6+ years of experience working in Precommercial or Breeding operations; + 5+ years of experience leading teams; This posting will be available for application until at least August 15, 2025. Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $137686.40 - 206529.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
