Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Miller-Dwan Foundation leadership to develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to support various departments, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall mission and goalsIdentify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with potential donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporate partnersResearch potential funding sources, including grants, major donors, corporate sponsorships, and other philanthropic opportunitiesCreate compelling proposals, case statements, and marketing materials to engage potential donors and communicate the impact of their support across different departmentsOrganize and lead fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives that support diverse departmental needsCollaborate with department heads to understand funding priorities, project needs, and long-term goals, ensuring that fundraising strategies meet the evolving needs of each departmentTrack, analyze, and report on fundraising progress to ensure fundraising goals are met, adjusting strategies as neededMaintain accurate records of donor information and interactions using fundraising databasesProvide support in preparing and submitting grant applications, including writing, tracking deadlines, and reporting on grant outcomesFoster a culture of philanthropy within the organization and help integrate fundraising into the broader activities and communication strategies of all departmentsEducation Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of fundraising or development experience, ideally in a multi-departmental or nonprofit settingProven track record of successfully securing and managing donations from individuals, foundations, corporations, and other funding sourcesExperience with fundraising software and donor management systemsPreferred Qualifications:
