Your mission, roles and responsibilities

 Forvia North America is looking for a Training Specialist located in Auburn Hills, MI.
  
Main Duties/Activities:

Manage the Training Planning to cover the annual needsLead scheduling, accommodations and planning for external suppliers/internal trainersAct as liaison to support the needs of the external suppliers to deliver trainingAct as local support for regional and globally organized trainings delivered at US locationsParticipate with the indirect purchasing Dept. to maintain external supplier base (price agreement), annual negotiationsManage external suppliers PO request and invoices through Ariba and SAP to process paymentsMonthly meetings with Finance to ensure department is on track for both Sales and RevenueEstablish internal training prices/cost for the yearTake a leadership role  to ensure alignment across business groups and talent developmentResponsible for creating, sending, receiving course evaluations and gathering & recording data into monthly key performance indicatorsResponsible for creating, sending, making updates to the training invitations including the prework and any additional details required for the training sessionManage Learning Management System PASS via Success FactorsUpdate systems, calendars and websites with proper data and information for coursesCommunication: photos, articles, LinkedIn, and internal communications for the universityAssist in creation and updating of presentation materialsOrganization and communication of training sessionsSupport all training function programs including FES Certification and Supply Chain AcademyReporting monthly invoicing, monthly FES Certification progress, and bi-weekly Supply Chain Academy progress, Learning Lab hoursPartner with Subject Matter Experts on functional training offerings Assist in budget process and training plan processOrganization of university supplies, training materials, and office suppliesEvent Planning – catering for events, coordination of evening networking and dinner activitiesLead development of new training programs to address gaps identified by the business groupsYour profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have/be:
