Formulation Technician IPost Production Associate I
Day Shift 12am - 12 pm
Location/Division Specific Information:As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.
How Will You Make an Impact?:The Post Production Associate will play a meaningful role in our Post Production Department by testing, pulling product stacks, inspecting, polishing, sizing, weighing, monitoring print quality, packaging and palletizing products such as softgels and soflets as required.
A Day in the Life:Inspect capsules on inspection trays, removes defects such as odd shapes, transfer marks, and leakers.
Cleans all equipment, machine parts, and inspection or packaging room during a complete changeover by using brooms, mops, compressed air, detergent, towels, 70% IPA and purified water.
Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP’s, and MSDS memos.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:Required: No previous work experience requiredPreferred: Previous work experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related fieldMeet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentMust be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 poundsClose and color vision is requiredRepetitive motions over a prolonged period including overhead lifting and reaching
