And so much more.​   ​Come break through with us.  Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors. **Role Purpose** Due to the ChinaCQ plantexpansion,Chongqingplantengineeringwould like to provide daily operation for the needs **Key Responsibilities** + Provides day-to-day problem solving support to production and development. + Functions as a team member on focused projects in Corning + Support process development and optimization efforts + Provide trouble shoots to process and equipment issues, identifies root cause and corrective actions + Supports new technology migration through equipment installation, process optimization and documentations. + Assist on data analysis for key decision of process engineering activities (experiment, development, etc.) **Experiences/Education - Required** + Bachelor’s degree above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering,ChemicalEngineering or other engineering related + 2 years’work experiencepreferred + Process engineering skills (quantitative skills, coursework in engineering statistics or other statistical training) + Familiar to design of experiment concept and methodology + Good project management skills + Logical thinking to deal with complex problems in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment + Good English comprehension in listening, spoken, writing and reading. + Ability to utilize computer programs and Statistic skill for data analysis and modeling + Experience in implementing DMAIC methodologyorleading 6-sigma project + Ability to work effectively with cross function team members + Good communication skills + Good presentation skill **Experiences/Education - Desired** + Project management skill + Understanding ofequipment mechanical and control concept + Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin). + Technical writing, ability to deliver technical presentations to operators, engineers and managers. + Excel VBA/Power BI/Basic Python understanding We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
