We have an immediate requirement for a Forklift Operator to join our Logistics Team based in Lae, reporting to the Depot Supervisor - Lae.

Main duties include:

Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse safely. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Adhere to the Brewery's Quality and Food Safety Management System and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and organizing products. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Qualification and Experience: 

Experience as a Forklift Operator in a FMCG industry or similar. Valid class 7 forklift driver’s license. Experience in warehouse operations with a strong understanding of inventory management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Must have background knowledge on Forklift Safety Operations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Result oriented, shows initiative, and maintains a sense of urgency. Able to work with minimum supervision. Good written and oral communication skills. Flexibility to work on shift rotations and during weekends as required. Must have a valid Police Clearance.
