**Job Title: Forklift Operator** SHIFT Mon-Fri Thurs-Sun 4am-2pm (10 hrs) PAY: $24.75 Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently off-loading and on-loading goods from containers using a propane SDCB forklift. You will be on the forklift approximately 80% of your shift, handling freight of varying sizes and weights in a busy environment. Responsibilities + Operate a propane SDCB forklift safely and efficiently. + Load and unload trailers with freight of varying sizes and weights. + Navigate tight quarters and turn tight corners in an open facility. + Use paper shipping documents and digital shipping software to ensure correct loading and unloading of products. + Work with small to large shipments. + Adapt to potential contract extensions based on internal hiring processes. Essential Skills + Minimum of 1 year experience operating a SDCB forklift in an LTL environment. + Valid forklift ticket. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. + Good computer skills. + Reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2-5 years of experience in LTL. + Leadership experience. + Experience with Truckmate software. + Ability to work independently and take initiative. + Comfortable with shop talk. + Strong English communication skills. The facility has more than 50 doors on the dock, handling a variety of products from fridges to tires. The team consists of approximately 50 operators per shift. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, and shifts are available from Monday to Friday or Thursday to Sunday, 4am to 12pm (10-hour shifts).
