Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Ypsilanti, MI
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Some Saturdays & Overtime as needed)

Job Overview:
We are hiring a skilled Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a large distribution facility in Ypsilanti. This location handles a wide variety of materials including automotive, home goods, and raw materials. The ideal candidate will have experience operating propane-powered clutch-style forklifts and be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. This is a high-expectation, performance-driven opportunity with long-term potential for the right person.

Responsibilities:

Operate sit-down propane (clutch-style) forklifts safely and efficiently

Load, stack, and move materials throughout the facility and yard

Rotate between various roles and responsibilities as trained

Follow all safety procedures and complete daily equipment checks

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Support team operations and assist where needed

Requirements:

Minimum 2 year of sit-down forklift experience (propane, clutch-style required)

Comfortable working in both indoor warehouse and outdoor yard environments

Ability to lift and maneuver materials safely

Steel toe shoes required; high-visibility vest provided

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Additional Information:

Onsite forklift testing required

Interviews are part of the selection process

Facility includes lockers and cafeteria
