Here is what you will be doing

 

Operating a Forklift in a warehouse environment Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero tolerance safety objectives Selecting, palletizing, and shrink wrapping products for shipments Staging orders for outbound deliveries Operate/maintain forklift and warehouse equipment Complete and maintain required daily paperwork Some general housekeeping duties when needed Occasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by supervisors

 

What you'll need

 

1 year of forklift operating, 1-year of marine, plant, or industrial equipment experience preferred Must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card, and must have a Valid Driver’s License Be able to read, write, and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions Must be able to work shift: Monday-Friday 7 am-4 pm, weekends when vessels are loading or discharging High School diploma or GED Equipment certifications are a plus

 

Here are some of the physical requirements for this role

 

Can work outdoors in the elements Lift 50+ pounds Stand/walk for long periods of time. Have dexterity, good eye sight, agility and balance Physically able to handle tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights
