Pay Rate: Up to $17.20/hr.

Shifts Available: Monday + Tuesday + Thursday+ Friday: 9pm to 5:30am

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Operate forklift or other hand truckLoad and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraftMove goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facilityStack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructionsEnsuring loads are secureStack empty palletsPerform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipmentRemove machine attachments and waste material from machinesPick up cardboard, plastics and other items or debris; load and remove to stacking area or debris bin(s) or other designated locationProvide support to the janitorial crew when needed which may include the following:Clean building floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuumingGather and empty trashQualification requirements:2 years' experience as forklift operatorGeneral janitorial experience preferredValid certification to operate forklifts and must be able satisfactorily pass company PIT (Performance Industrial Trucks) Training

Physical demands and abilities:

Use of hands and fingersAbility to grasp, reach, push, and pull with hands and armsStand; walk; climb, use balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Lift and/or move/carry, up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsStand on feet most of the shift, for extended periods of time, and may be required to walk several miles each day (some facilities are over a quarter mile in length)Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusWhat’s In It for You?
