General Job Duties:
Work hours are 2:40a-1pTo exhibit an objective, fair and professional attitude that exemplifies the principles outlined in The MAGNA Employee’s Charter to maintain a positive and productive workplace.To follow Decostar policies and display conduct expected of Decostar employees as described in the employee handbook.Ensure that you follow company policies and business objectives in the daily supervision of the operations of the company.To exhibit teamwork and leadership skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.To support all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Decostar.To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions.Ensure a spirit of respect, cooperation, ethical conduct and fair dealing in all our operations between our internal, external customers and suppliers.Specific Job Duties:
Follow all Decostar Industries health and safety policies and procedures that provide for a safe and healthful workplace for all Decostar Industries employees, contractors and visitors.Attend all job and safety related training as required.Do not operate any equipment, machinery or perform any job task unless you have competed documented trainingParticipate in all accident investigations, internal inspections or audits or those conducted by any regulatory agency.Do not modify or by-pass any safety-related systems on any equipment or machinery.Immediately report any unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviors to your Team Leader, Supervisor or the Department Manager.Immediately report any accidents, incidents or near-misses to your Team Leader, Supervisor Department Manager or the Safety Department.Complete pre-operational safety checklists prior to operating any equipment or machinery.Receive and load materials for shipment.Maintain, and organize the warehouse and parts areas.Monitor location of parts and materials.Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities.Report any accident, injury, or near miss to your team leader immediately and report any unsafe work conditions in the workplace.Strive to meet or exceed departmental performance objectives on a daily basis as directed by the Team Leader (See attached list of Performance Objectives).Perform all work within the guidelines of the control plan to ensure parts quality and customer satisfaction.Maintain a clean work area and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Team Leader on a daily basis.Perform other duties as directed.Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in shipping and receiving preferred.Ability to drive a forklift is required.Forklift license requiredStrong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated abilities to communicate with other department team members as well as the Decostar management team.Fluent in English (reading and writing).Education:
