Job Description
As a Foreman Electrician, you will be responsible for roughing in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided by the general contractor. You will terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. Your role will include wiring instruments that control power, lighting, and heating units, as well as providing wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. You will utilize power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders to perform your tasks.
ResponsibilitiesRough in conduit and wiring for new commercial buildings.Terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays.Wire instruments controlling power, lighting, and heating units.Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units.Use power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.Lead and manage a crew of 2-5 electricians.Essential SkillsForeman level commercial experience in bending conduit or pipe and running wire.Safety-oriented with OSHA certification.Proficiency with saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, and testing tools.Experience in conduit bending, pulling wire, and reading blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with conduit, EMT, and pulling wire.Knowledge of 220V systems.Skills in pipe bending, pipe laying, and box setting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a blue-collar electrical contracting environment that is understanding and cares for its team. Collaborate with small groups of 2-4 people on commercial construction projects. Standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, based in Rochester.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockport, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
