In addition to demonstrated total vehicle chassis experience and problem-solving skills, applicants must possess a passion for performance and strong interest in technology. What you'll do…
Work with the Ford Performance planning team in the development of future production and motorsports vehicles focusing on chassis, powertrain and body structure systems. Projects may include ground-up vehicles or platform derivatives for track or off-road segments. Coordinate design efforts between cross-functional activities (D&R, Vehicle Engineering, Chassis, VO, Suppliers) to ensure architectural compatibility between mechanical package, occupants and intended design requirements. Lead development of solutions and alternatives to meet the mechanical package and related targets. Develop and maintain suspension and tire motion models, system selection documents and program Specific data in support of the vehicle design.
