In this position... 
The Ford Custom Garage Planning Analyst position is focused on leading the launch of new and exciting Accessory Appearance packages though this newly created Ford brand. This role offers a great opportunity for exposure to all elements of a product lifecycle from business case development through vehicle launch. You will work with the team to deliver accessories packages to our customers.  Lead the development of accessory package business cases, cost/feasibility/timing studies and provide program content direction. Interact with cross-functional team including but not limited to design, finance, purchasing, planning, program management, engineering, and ASO. 


What you'll do...
•Update Cycle Planning Documents
•Partnerships with PD Marketing to enable upstream planning
•Align package launch timing to USOB with Marketing/Sales teams
•Manage business case content development, program timing and financial approvals for all Ford Custom Garage Packages
•Single point of contact for the Trade-Mark Team 
•Subject matter expert on package content, responsible for updating web text and interfacing with VP Marketing on necessary materials
•Establish, publish, and manage project metrics to ensure quality execution
•Analyze financial and engineering data to ensure financial viability of programs prior to approval (Including program content, timing, financials, etc.)
•Identification and resolution of program and business case issues (e.g. Company Financial Targets, Timing, Feasibility etc.)
•Interface with Senior Management, Program Teams, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering, and Market Areas Field Teams


You'll have... 
•Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years minimum experience with product development, product launch process, vehicle integration, etc.
•Prior Planning or Vehicle Integration experience strongly desired.


Even better, you may have...
•Comfortable presenting to members of senior management 
•Prior Product Marketing, Program Management and / or Planning experience.
•Knowledge and understanding of automotive aftermarket, vehicle dealerships - particularly in sales/service of vehicle accessories / personalization.
•Technical knowledge and understanding of a vehicle (exterior and interior).
•Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, •Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
•Project / Program Management Skills with a strength in managing multiple projects.
•Automotive Field experience including dealership interaction a plus.
•Experience with business case development including financial analytics.
•Understanding of Ford GPDS timing and milestone requirements.
•Strong written and verbal presentation skills required for internal management interaction and cross-functional team meeting facilitation.
•Self-motivation, enthusiastic, open minded and a team player.
•Analytical thinking with ability to embrace process disciplines. 
•Ability to work within the Ford Hybrid Work Model policy.
