We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Associate to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food service to a diverse group of customers, including patients, families, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, plate, and serve meals in accordance with dietary and safety standards.

Transport food and supplies efficiently across hospital departments.

Deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate service while addressing customer concerns professionally.

Maintain cleanliness and adhere to infection control and sanitation protocols.

Operate food service and computer equipment as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.

No prior experience required—training will be provided.

Basic knowledge of:

Food safety and sanitation

Infection control practices

Preferred: Serve Safe certification and familiarity with CBORD system.

May be required: ISDOH Food Handler Certification (Title 410 IAC 7-22), depending on location.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to lift, push, pull, bend, and kneel as part of daily duties.
