Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Food Services Team Lead, Retail to join the Retail Food Services team working out of Richmond Hospital in Richmond, BC.

 

The successful candidate will be self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team setting. They will also have a strong work ethic that allows them to oversee daily food services to ensure a safe and respectful environment for staff, patients, residents, families, and visitors.

As a Food Services Team Lead with VCH you will:

Be responsible for overseeing and participating in the delivery of retail food services to customers and leading designated staff.

Maintain supplies, and ensure safety, food quality and sanitation standards are met.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

Grade 12, plus two (2) years’ recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Food Safe Certificate Level 1.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to supervise.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.Ability to organize work.Ability to operate related equipment

Additional skill assets:
• Great at building connection with customers
• Barista or Starbucks experience
• Supervisor experience
• Food Service Production experience

 

Work Day availability needed: Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday
