The Food Runner at our hospital plays a crucial role in our patient care experience. This position involves ensuring the timely delivery of meals to patients, maintaining dietary guidelines, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent service.

Qualifications:

Required:

Successful completion of general and department specific orientationPrevious experience in a food service roleKnowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work in very fast paced environment

Preferred:

Experience in a healthcare settingCertification in food handling and safetyBilingual abilitiesExcellent problem solving skills

Scheduling Requirements:

This is a Per Diem evening

            The candidate must be available to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
