Responsibilities include but are not limited to menu planning, staff management, development, training and evaluation of systems and processes to achieve department goals. + Planning, organizing, directing and evaluating of all phases of the department. + Managing budget and cost control, menu planning, quality food procurement, food preparation and service, administrative record keeping, maintaining high standards of nutritional care, quality improvement and quality control. + Leading trainings of Food Services personnel to ensure safety and sanitation procedures are being followed. + Scheduling Food Services personnel. + Calculating menus in accordance with diet order and nutritional needs of patients. **Qualifications** Minimum Requirements: + Five or more years in a management capacity in a Food and Nutrition department or healthcare food service department required. + Completion of a state or local approved food safety course required. + Thorough knowledge of food products and service, operations, staffing, handling, storage and regulatory requirements required.
