Location: Christiana Hospital – Newark, DE
Schedule: Casual (minimum of 8 hours weekly)
Shifts: Primarily 4:30 PM – 8:15 PM | Every other weekend + 1 weekday minimum | Holiday rotation required
*Additional weekday hours and occasional 10-hour shifts may be available!

What You’ll Do:Deliver meals and snacks to patients with care and accuracy.Collect and process patient menu selections using an iPad.Adjust menus based on dietary needs and physician orders.Provide exceptional customer service and practice service recovery.Maintain a clean and organized pantry and service area.Collaborate with nursing and nutrition staff to ensure patient satisfaction.What You Bring:High school diploma or equivalent required.6+ months of food service experience preferred.ServSafe certification is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and interpret diet orders and perform basic math.Comfort using technology (iPads) for menu collection.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout your shift.Must pass a physical exam and be drug-free.Comfortable working in patient care areas with potential exposure to cleaning chemicals and infectious diseases.Why ChristianaCare?Be part of a purpose-driven organization that puts people first.Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.Make a real impact on patient care and experience.Enjoy opportunities for growth, flexibility, and stability.Who We Are:At ChristianaCare, we deliver health, not just health care.
