Ontario Christian staff and facility lays a biblical foundation for our Christ-centered mission of Growing Christian Leaders. Ontario Christian seeks a Food Service Assistant to prepare and serve meals to our Preschool - 8th grade students. The environment is a fast paced one cooking and preparing meals for a student base of approximately 1,000 students. This role will bake, cook, clean the kitchen and wash dishes. We are looking for a dedicated team member who is organized and is able to multi-task. Prior experience working in a Christian school environment and/or a Protestant Christian Church setting is a plus. As a Food Service Assistant at Ontario Christian School, the candidate should work collaboratively with co-workers, provide excellent customer service, proactively identify and fix problems, and exhibit a servant's heart. As a distinctly Christian school, Ontario Christian maintains high spiritual and lifestyle expectations of its employees. Requirements for this role are as follows. Experience One (1) + years of teaching experience in the applicable field. Schedule Monday - Thursday - 7:00am - 2:30pm. This position does not work in the summers.
