Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product & Insights Analyst to support the company in optimizing product acceptance and ensuring ongoing product quality. This role blends sensory science, experimental design, and consumer insights from a product-focused perspective.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute sensory and consumer tests with scientific rigorOrganize and conduct shelf-life testingAnalyze sensory data and generate actionable insightsDevelop and maintain databases of panelists and sensory dataSupport the Sensory Evaluator training program across Starbucks Enterprise plants and suppliersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop descriptor lists and training toolsMaintain lab supplies, cleanliness, and documentation systemsManage administrative aspects of multiple concurrent projectsFormat technical documents using advanced MS Word and Excel toolsBuild and support consumer panels and monitor panel performanceSkills & Qualifications3+ years of experience in sensory science, food science, or consumer researchProficient in data analysis and statistical interpretationExperience in lab environments and product testing softwareStrong understanding of sensory test methodologies (discrimination, descriptive, affective)Skilled in questionnaire development and consumer behavior analysisProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to train technicians and panelists effectivelyTop SkillsData AnalysisLab EnvironmentFood ScienceConsumer ResearchThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a dynamic, consumer-focused environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
