Job Title: Food Science Innovation and Productivity Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a technically skilled food science professional to support our Design to Consumer Value initiatives. This role integrates technical feasibility, consumer science, and project management to transform early-stage ideas into actionable, cost-effective innovations. You will play a vital role in leading workshops, assessing feasibility, and developing a pipeline of productivity opportunities that directly enhance product value and margin.

ResponsibilitiesLead workshops to foster innovation and productivity.Evaluate early-stage concepts and guide them through feasibility assessments.Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and consumer science teams to validate ideas and optimize product design.Support cost breakdowns and value assessments using consumer science tools, such as green line association.Essential SkillsProject management experience.Proficiency in using Power BI for data analysis.Experience in R&D and flavor science.Additional Skills & QualificationsConfident and proactive personality.Strong technical fluency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build dashboards and communicate insights clearly.Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering preferred.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
