Description Provide documentation to customers (spec sheets, audit certificates, etc.) Communicate with suppliers for documentation Develop and maintain HACCP plans and prerequisite programs Verify labeling and ingredients of imported products Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints Conduct monthly internal audits Research regulations and report fish imports to NOAA Apply/renew certificates and registrations Attend company events and inventory counts Skills Quality assurance, Food safety, Auditing, Gmp, Food quality, Haccp, Food science, Quality control Top Skills Details Quality assurance,Food safety,Auditing,Gmp,Food quality Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field (preferred) Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations Familiarity with FDA/USDA labeling and compliance standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience with internal audits and corrective action processes Knowledge of Japanese food products and ingredients (preferred) Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $44720.00 - $56160.00/yr.
