Job Description:

COMPENSATION: $20/HR

The FSQA Technician must be available to work Sunday - Friday. Our Techs work 5 days per week, 8-10 hour shifts per day. Shift start could be either 4:30am or 10:30am.

Responsibilities: The applicant must be able to display knowledge and understanding of the following skill sets:

Taking mathematical measurements and solving simple equationsComplete scientific conversionsCalibrations of certain equipment and/or toolsCompleting daily quality checks, verifications, and food safety investigationsTaking and preparing samples for lab testingProblem solving skillsClearly communicate all quality and compliance concerns to the team

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is requiredAt least 3 months experience in a related food and/or quality fieldStrong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportionsDemonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and informationAble to lift, bend and twist as well as standing on your feet throughout every shiftAble to work in cold and wet environment (38-40 degrees) for multiple hours

Preferred Qualifications

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft ApplicationsExperience using tablets for data entryExperience using equipment including but not limited to thermometers, pH meters, scales, etc.Possess strong verbal/written communication skillsBilingual; Spanish preferred
