Food Runner Key Responsibilities:

To provide courteous, prompt service to our guestsEnsure correct menu items are delivered timely to guestsSuccessfully adhere to Emmy's Steps of ServiceEnsure items are cleared from tables in a timely manner to ensure an organized dining experienceAbility to communicate guest requests and effectively handle guest needsHelp to maintain a clean and presentable work environmentMaintain a positive, outgoing demeanor during serviceBe safety conscious to promote the safety of one’s self, co-workers and guests at all timesAdhere to company policy and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by management

Food Runner Qualifications:

Previous front of house restaurant experience preferredPrior experience requiring excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing the needs of guestsAbility to work cohesively with co-workers throughout the restaurantPossess a passion for hospitality and a love of the food & beverage industryAbility to work a flexible scheduleAbility to lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting. Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
