SodexoMagic is hiring an Operations Manager 2 to oversee student nutrition operations for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Based in the Washington, DC area, the Operations Manager will manage and lead a portfolio of 8 to 10 schools. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to drive operational goals and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of school nutrition management and experience in food services. What You'll Do Lead daily operations of student nutrition services across 8–10 DCPS schoolsSupervise and support school-based site leaders and front-line food service teamsManage food procurement, inventory, and ensure food safety and quality standardsImplement marketing, culinary, and nutrition programs and initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with school leadership and support teamsMonitor and meet financial, compliance, and operational performance targetsEnsure completion of daily Quality Assurance audits and compliance with food and physical safety standards What We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
