We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Food Beverage Manager to lead the full operations of our restaurant and bar. In this role, you will serve as both a strategic planner and a hands-on leader—overseeing the guest experience, team development, and overall performance of the outlet. As we operate a single-restaurant concept, this position plays a vital role in both daily operations and long-term success, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Your Role
Lead the FB team to deliver exceptional guest service in alignment with Hyatt brand standards and Alila's unique experience.Drive outlet profitability by managing budgets, controlling costs, and identifying revenue opportunities.Oversee all areas of restaurant operations, including service flow, hygiene, food safety, and guest satisfaction.Partner closely with the Culinary team to ensure smooth operations and consistent quality.Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and bar.Support the recruitment, training, and performance development of the service team.Be visible on the floor during peak hours, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.Address guest feedback and service recovery, striving for continuous improvement.Ensure the outlet operates in compliance with Malaysian regulations, Hyatt policies, and sustainability practices.Take ownership of inventory, supplier coordination, and equipment upkeep.Join Our Leadership Team at Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within a luxury or upscale hospitality environment.Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Familiar with food safety and hygiene regulations in line with Malaysian standards.Able to multitask, manage teams effectively, and deliver consistent guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
