Food Beverage Coordinator

You will be responsibleto assist with theefficient running ofthe department in line with Hyatt’s Corporate Strategies andbrand standards, whilst meetingemployee, guest and owner expectations.

Job Summary

As the Food Beverage Coordinator you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Food Beverage and Culinary Department by ensuring that coordination, administration, communication functions and duties of the department are carried out in a professional, discreet, exact and prompt manner in accordance with company policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

FB and Culinary Secretarial duties and supportMaintain and coordinate calendars on a weekly basisMaintain and coordinate Restaurants bookingsWork closely with FB Director and Executive Chef for all FB administrative tasksPrepare proper FB forecast for all FB venues in accordance with FB manager directivesMaintaining effective cost and revenue in all areas of the FB departmentManage the Department roster and attendance system

Ensure the smooth operation of the FB and Culinary Administration office

Provide updates to all FB colleagues on company policies, news, announcementsAssist in the preparation of budgets, forecast and coordinate with the finance department for figures requirementsHandle all incoming and outgoing food and beverage correspondence including guest's feedback promptly and accuratelyAdminister all mail going in and out of the FB adn Culianry Admin officeEnsure a proper filing system is maintained for all Food and Beverage records, financial reportsEnsure that all FB collaterals including menus are clean and displayed correctly in all FB departmentMenu card preparation for all required eventsAny other duties or projects assigned by the FB and Culinary management

Skills, Experience Educational Requirements:

At least two years of FB experience.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, hotel management or business administration degree preferred.Knowledge of food beverage products.Good Knowledge of MS Office.Excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance.
