Overview The Bradley Hotel is seeking an enthusiac AM Working F&B Supervisor and PM Working F&B Supervisor to oversea the operations on our Birdie's and Arbor restaurants. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Working F&B Supervisor will supervise and assist in the day-to-day operations of Birdie’s and Arbor. Ensures that employee and guest satisfaction are exceeded by assessing the customer needs, meeting quality standards for service and continued evaluation of external and internal guest satisfaction. The Working F&B Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the highest customer service standards in Birdie’s and Arbor restaurants. The Working F&B Supervisor will ensure all aspects of the restaurants are operating in accordance to established policies and procedures to include cash control, property promotions, alcoholic beverage menus, and overall housekeeping and maintenance respective areas of responsibility. The Working F&B Supervisor will ensure that all aspects of customer service are successfully executed in order to maintain a loyal following amongst guests, thus increasing business and furthering the restaurants’ reputation of providing a quality experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.) Supervise and develop the performance of employee’s bar performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to hotel/restaurant’s policies and procedures and to insure the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction in a cost-efficient manner. Supervise programs that promote a positive work environment for all employees Answer inquiries pertaining to property policies and services. Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift. Ensure all policies and procedures are fully implemented in the restaurant including safety, emergency guidelines, etc. Function as a liaison between guest and restaurant/bar while maintaining a high level of customer service. Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and appearance to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards. Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations. Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints. Maintain credit policies in the restaurant/bar. Performs all other duties as directed by immediate managers. Provide assistance to staff members as necessary. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises all FOH employees in Birdie’s and Arbor during designated working supervisory shifts. Previous experience in a 4 to 5 star hotel or first class restaurant (and the quality and services expectations associated therewith) preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. CUSTOMER RELATIONS SKILLS: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. Must have assessment techniques, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems and customer satisfaction evaluation techniques. NON-EXEMPT POSITION: Non-exempt employees are subject to wage and hour laws and entitled to overtime pay. All overtime work by a non-exempt employee must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor or the General Manager.
