\nAbout the role
\nThe Garden Court Brasserie restaurant seats 110 and has been serving locals and guests for many years at the Chateau on the Park – Christchurch, a DoubleTree by Hilton.
\nWe are currently looking for a full time Food & Beverage Supervisor. In your new role you will be responsible for managing the performance of the Hotel Restaurant outlet while on shift, by supporting your team with daily activities, and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. You will be responsible for leading and developing your team while on shift, to ensure a consistent high level of service.
\nPrevious experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor is preferable to lead our diverse team. We are looking for a natural leader who demonstrates an interest and passion for hospitality, has a \"can do\" positive attitude and present themselves well with an ability to motivate and direct the team.
\nExcellent communication skills are necessary to assist you in building the team and liaising with other hotel departments.
Duties/responsibilities
\n\nSupervise and support daily Restaurant operations\nImportant to note, these will be predominately night shifts\nSupervise the team, ensuring that brand standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded\nResolve conflicts and issues where necessary\nTrain and develop team members\nEnsure your team maintains a professional manner and are up to date with VIP guest movements, hotel events, local attractions and activities\n\nSkills/experience
\n\nExperience in a Food and Beverage Supervisory role \nFluent in the English language in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members, both in person and over the telephone\nExperience with a POS system\nA passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences\nDemonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure\nWell-presented, organized and calm personality\nFlexibility to work variable hours, including Saturdays and Sundays\n\nIt would be advantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:
