GENERAL PURPOSE: Keep Folder/Gluer supplied with all materials needed to complete job and maintain a clean orderly work area. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: \u2022 Ensure folder gluers are fed. \u2022 Returns: skids, scrap skids and slip sheets \u2022 Empty shredder bins \u2022 Assist with hand stripping \u2022 Assist with gathering on folder gluer; as neededMust be willing to work overtime as needed. \u2022 Stages jobs according to die and due dates. \u2022 Ensures skids and shipper boxes are ready for staged jobs. \u2022 Makes labels for staged jobs. \u2022 Takes away finished skids and organizes them according to ship dates. \u2022 Makes note on flow chart when job is completed. \u2022 Moves tags on schedule board. \u2022 Stacks finished boxes on proper skid and label boxes. \u2022 Checks inventory of shipper boxes, chipboard box tape and glue. Restocks as needed. \u2022 Sweeps and dusts folder/gluer area. \u2022 Operates motorized lifts. \u2022 Double checks labels and paperwork on finished product. \u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned. \u2022 Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: \u2022 Must have high school diploma and G.E.D. \u2022 Six months work experience preferred. \u2022 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. \u2022 Ability to perform intermediate arithmetic dealing with decimals, fractions, ratios, etc. \u2022 Ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirements on a mechanical test required. \u2022 Ability to disassemble a glue pot, clean it and reassemble it. \u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance. \u2022 Must be willing to work overtime as needed. \u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
