The manger must develop a team that works closely with the Design IPTs ensuring aircraft manufacturability \- or the relative ease of assembly and serve as a primary program interface with the final assembly and fuselage assembly/operations centers\. **What you'll be doing as a FLRAA Build Team Manager \- Aircraft Assembly:** Areas of responsibility include pre\-planning or the development of index plans, develop assembly tool requirements, support assembly center resourcing and develop/mitigate/capture Risks, Issues, and Opportunities for the aircraft assembly\.Develop assembly line schedules, working with integrated master scheduling, master data, and business planning\. The Aircraft Assembly manager will be expected to facilitate schedule risk mitigation and schedule acceleration strategies across supporting disciplines \(Engineering/Design, Tooling, SCM, Operations, Quality\)\.Lead the team of Mfg\. Engineers through efficient methodology and execution of Tooling, Jigs, Fixtures, etc\. for the manufacture of parts and assemblies for the MV\-75 Aircraft\.Collaborating with internal and industry\-known Technical Subject Matter Experts \(Technical Fellows/Technical Competency Leads\), and Manufacturing Centers of Excellence to ensure the alignment of the aircraft assembly strategy\.Facilitate the integration and implementation of rapid assembly tooling methods, procedures and processes\.Manage internal and external relationships with Build to Print and Partnered Supplier Development to ensure methods, procedures and build aspects meets the requirements of the Program Execution PlanOwns and consults to internal production, procurement, and quality on the assembly producibility inputs for assembly/install releases and Tooling design\.Support technical design fly\-thru's with technical reviews, tradeoff assessments, and facilitate Operations/Assembly inputs as needed\.Manage a team responsible for timely support of engineering releases requiring assembly/producibility reviews\.Establish and foster relationships with Operations, Military and Commercial Program leaders in coordination and prioritization of shared resources\. **Qualifications** **Skills you bring to this role:** Strong working knowledge of Bell's new product development life cycles and prototype production methodologies\.Ability to prioritize work, strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a team player mindsetMust be an excellent communicator, must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders, and brief leaders/customers\. **What you need to be successful:** Bachelor of Science \(BS\) degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology10 years experience in aerospace or related manufacturing industry experienceExposure to Engineering Compliance Standards through Industry or corporate regulationComfort in dealing with ambiguity\.
