Airswift is looking for a Flowback Cost & Controls Specialist to support a major client in Midland, TX

The Cost/Schedule/Controls Technician coordinate effort with Flowback Foreman for cost outlook preparation / input to well budgets (AFEs), schedule outlook, and other administrative items to support well flowback planning. The Cost/Schedule/Controls Technician will support the Flowback Foreman in ongoing cost tracking, goods receipt approval, execution manhours tracking, coordination of company equipment logistics, and tracking against initial estimates.
Responsibilities: The Cost/Schedule/Controls Technician will provide similar support to Foreman executing Tank Farm and fast lining project execution. The Cost/Schedule/Controls Technician will support ongoing administration, enhancement, and buildout of the Operations Support SharePoint, Zoom tools, and Checklists. The Cost/Schedule/Control Technician will support the Operations Readiness Team in development of Operations Procedures and Work aids as required to support broader Procedure updates and enhancements across Operations. Assist Foreman with analysis and planning for Cost and Schedule estimate / schedule staffing requirements Prepare forecasts, cost trend reports, and monitor cost and budget forecasts on multiple flowback projects Report on deviations, underruns and overruns, and can make recommendations for corrective actions Assist Foreman with updates of reports Promote and facilitate effective communication, teamwork, and alignment between Foremen in Operations Readiness External Coordination: Counterparts in other project management organizations such as Global Projects and Wells / Drilling organizations Continue to support updates to Operations Readiness tools (Cost Tracking, SharePoint, Schedule Coordination, etc.)
Requirements: Completed secondary education and worked previously in a role supporting wellwork / flowback operations or project costs / schedule control Experience in Oil & Gas Upstream / Midstream projects or operations (3 – 5 years) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management Skills to negotiate and broker successful solutions between Internal Coordination parties above Basic to advance level proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning and Project Controls Strong Influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software programs Adaptability to changing priorities Ability to organize, plan, control, coordinate, and effectively manage cross-functional activities
