We're now looking for a Flow Room Manager to lead our operations and drive success

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

\n\nManage operational performance via SCADA, CCTV and WMS/WCS ensuring maximum utilisation and availability of the ASRS.\nManage a team of flow room controllers on a daily basis.\nExpected to make timely business critical decisions based upon the data feeding in to the flow room, ensuring bottlenecks and single points of failures are adequately managed\nEnsure all mail types are processed on time. Instruct and influence managers within the operation with performance and daily operational KPI's to ensure a smooth running of flow.\nExpected to cover for the Flow Manager and carry out their duties through periods of annual leave or sickness\nDesigning and reviewing system and flow room SOPs\n1st line support for mechanical and system issues raised by the operational teams\nCo-ordinate engineers and prioritise their workload via radio to rectify faults and blockages within the ASRS\nPrioritise faults and incidents occurring simultaneously in the operation. Rectifying the issues with the largest impact first\nManaging Vehicle flow through the yard management system (YMS) to ensure that vehicle movements to dock are managed to maximise efficiency of internal flow, yard utilisation and trailer utilisation\nReview SCADA data to identify reoccurring faults across a time period and requesting preventative maintenance and repairs in conjunction with the Engineering team\nWorks alongside the engineering team and ensure assets are available at the time requested for pre preventative maintenance (PPM)\nEfficient and accurate reporting and fixing of faults and unexpected behaviours with resolver groups and the senior leadership team\nManagement of system parameters to ensure optimal flow of product throughout the systems\nBuilding strong report with warehouse/transport/planning teams and keeping all levels appraised.\n\n

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

\n\nStrong data analytic skills\nExperience of designing and maintaining system and flow/control room processes\nExperience working with SCADA & WMS\nAbility to translate technical information to a non technical audience\nGood understanding of C.I principles\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast paced automated environment\nAdaptable and receptive to new ideas from any source. Willing and able to adjust to changing demands and circumstances.\nSkilled and intuitive in identifying solutions to problems. Uses the expertise, skills and experience of others as appropriate\nIndependent, self-reliant, enthusiastic, and determined.
