**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all floor surfaces in a facility, including hard floors and carpets. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_v2\_English\_9.5.24.pdf) | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** • Must be 18 years of age or older • No experience required and on the job training provided • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Preferred Qualifications:** • Customer service experience • 1 year of similar work experience **Responsibilities:** + Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff hard surface floors using industrial equipment. + Vacuum, shampoo, and extract carpets and rugs. + Operate and maintain floor care machines such as buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and extractors. + Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas. + Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed. + Follow facility policies and procedures, including infection control and sanitation standards.
