Job Description

Aircraft Testing & Troubleshooting (70%)

Perform Functional Test Procedures (FTP), Pre-Flight, and Post-Flight Inspections to ensure aircraft readinessDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, avionics, and cabin systemsComplete scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and servicingOperate ground support equipment and systems for refueling, jacking, towing, and hydraulic/oil servicingFollow technical manuals, engineering drawings, and company procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance

Document maintenance and service activities in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines

Technical Operations & Safety (20%)

Use a variety of tools and test equipment (e.g., torque wrenches, micrometers, sealant tools)Ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA and Airbus safety standardsParticipate in quality improvement processes, 5S, root cause analysis, and daily SQCDP activitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and training of fellow techniciansOperate cranes, lifts, forklifts, and powered/non-powered ground equipment

General Duties & Collaboration (10%)

Coordinate daily work priorities and part/tool availability with team leadsMaintain strong communication with cross-functional teams (flight line, production, and engineering)

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of aviation experience, preferably in aircraft manufacturing, MRO, or flightline operations3 years’ experience with Applied Science in Avionics, A&P, or FCC license. Valid driver’s licenseWillingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to obtain a valid passport for potential international travel (e.g., Canada)

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years in a flightline environment under FAA/EASA/TCCA regulationsVocational/Technical School certification in aviation or avionicsFamiliarity with documentation: AMM, IPC, AWD, SB, CMMExperience with hazardous materials handling, confined spaces, and working at heights
