Flight Readiness Inspectors
**Job Title: Flight Readiness Technician Inspector (Level C)** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Flight Readiness Technician Inspectors to join our Storage team in San Antonio, TX. This non-managerial role involves performing verification, inspection, and testing of aircraft systems to ensure their readiness for delivery. **Responsibilities** + Perform verification and inspection of flight component installations and operational functional testing of aircraft systems. + Inspect and verify troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical or electrical/electronic faults and document faulty components. + Conduct inspections of pre-flight and post-flight checks and perform inspections of maintenance and modification prior to delivery. + Support documentation of identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products. + Verify the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspections. + Assist in performing system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance inspections in preparation for delivery. + Participate in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives. + Plan, schedule, and arrange own activities with the assistance of lead. + Inspect, document, and create non-conformance records with minimal assistance. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work any shift including days, nights, and weekends. + 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry. + 3+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing. + 3+ years of experience working with Velocity and other 787 production applications. + Experience in a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + FAA Airframe & Power Plant license. + 3+ years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk experience. + 3+ years of 787 Program Experience. + 2+ years of Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience. + Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications. + Proficient in all forms of NCR (Non-Conformance Record) and EPD (Emergent Process Document) generation. + Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + 3+ years of flight line operations experience. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading aviation and defense company, providing valuable experience and growth opportunities within the industry. **Work Environment** The work environment involves exposure to noise and elevated platforms, requiring the use of personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms. Candidates should be prepared to work variable shifts based on business needs, including 1st and 2nd shifts. Training is required and successful completion is a contingency for this assignment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of SAN ANTONIO, TX. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
