Flight MOD Mechanic The holder of this position will be responsible for working on and around the aircraft \. The applicant will be responsible for running daily aircraft tests and operations, along with keeping proficient records of the aircraft status\. Responsible for servicing, maintaining , and repairing avionics systems that perform communications, navigation, and automatic flight\-control functions\. In addition, will, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft batteries, AC/DC power generation, conversion, and distribution systems, as well as the electrical control and indication functions of all airframe systems, including hydraulics, flight control, fuel, environmental control, power plant, drive train, anti\-ice, and fire detection\. Ground handling and servicing of aircraft , conducting routine aircraft inspections is required \. Will support flight line operations to include servicing, launching and recovery of aircraft \. What you'll be doing as a Flight MOD Mechanic + Install, fit and adjust all types of parts and assemblies where difficult and diversified installations, alignments, and adjustments are necessary\. + Work from blueprints or project sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixtures\. + Perform difficult repairs and alterations per design changes, removing the required parts and making replacements\. + Perform functional testing of certain systems\. + Possible installation of gearboxes, drive shafts, fuel systems, electrical harnesses and systems, hydraulic components, and other systems\. Skills You Bring To this Role Demonstrated ability to perform many of the assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft \. **Qualifications** What you need to be successful + Aircraft maintenance or assembly experience \. + Experimental flight test operations experience strongly desired\. + A&P License strongly preferred\. + Formal training from a recognized program considered in lieu of experience\.
