Flight Data Technical Specialist (Experienced or Senior)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), FCOM (Flight Crew Operations Manual) organization is looking for a highly talented and motivated Flight Technical Data Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to support the team based in Seal Beach, California!

 

Position Overview:

The Flight Technical Data Specialist supports the creation and maintenance of the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) and Quick Reference Handbook (QRH).

 

Position Responsibilities:

Performs analysis and development of flight crew operations procedures, task listings, operations manuals, pilot's checklists and/or the software/data

Converts engineering data for use by flight crews

Performs the development, revision and instruction of flight crew training materials

Performs consultation related to in-flight emergencies and accidents

Collect information on customer publishing systems and digital data needs

Obtains regulatory authority certification/approval of operation and engineering documents

 

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Application Suite such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

3+ years of experience in a team-based environment

3+ years of experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

1+ years of experience in support of aerospace products, including commercial or military airplane flight operations

Currently hold a pilot license or pilot experience.

Experience working with Flight Crew Operations (Pilots, flight crew)

Publication Experience (Adobe frame, SQL Databases, XML, Python)

Summary Pay Range:

Experienced (Level 3): $81,600 - $110,400

Senior (Level 4): $96,900 - $131,100
