MAU is hiring a Flexographic Press Operator for our client in Peabody, MA. As a Flexographic Press Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain the flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels and packaging products. Benefits Package Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Company-Paid Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Optional Long-Term Disability, Supplemental Life, Accident, and Critical Illness Coverage Plans 401(k) Retirement Plan with Generous Company Contribution Performance-Based Salary Increases Onsite Training and Career Advancement Opportunities Shift Information Second Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience 1–3 years of related experience or training Preferred Education and Experience 1+ years of flexographic printing press experience preferred General Requirements Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales, and other measurement devices Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required Essential Functions Read job orders and load dies into press Install print cylinders on shaft and in press Fill ink pans, screens, and pumps with prescribed inks Start press, adjusting speed and alignment of stock as needed Engage print cylinders and adjust printing impressions Cut sample approval strips and inspect for printing imperfections Make necessary adjustments to correct register, impression, or ink issues Clean plates, print cylinders, and dies as required Perform daily, weekly, and monthly press maintenance Mix inks to maintain desired colors and viscosity Maintain clear and organized work areas according to housekeeping standards Physical Demands Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance
