Job Description A day in the life … The  Nordstrom E-Commerce hair and makeup artist  is responsible for hair and make-up for the non-recognizable selling photography on the Nordstrom website in addition to working on editorial projects as needed . + Stay current on hair styling, makeup trends and techniques t o achieve high quality results + Support multiple creative partners to produce high quality results that fulfill the creative direction + Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure HMU direction aligns with current creative directives from the business + Implement appropriate changes to hair styling and make-up as directed throughout each day’s photoshoot + Highly skilled performer that can crossover to editorial jobs within the company + Ensure effective approach in hair styling technique for a variety of different hair lengths, textures and wigs to support the creative vision + Strong knowledge of the impact of lighting on hair and make-up in studio photography and on location + Must have basic knowledge of the latest and upcoming in Fashion, while keeping the Nordstrom aesthetic in mind + Ensure adherence of company and studio policies.
