Flex Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse – Harmar Outpatient Sugery Center

UPMC is hiring a Flex Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse to join their Harmarville Outpatient Surgery Center! UPMC Harmarville Outpatient Surgery Center is a high-volume ambulatory surgery center focused on delivering exceptional same-day surgical care in a patient-centered, team-oriented environment. Our experienced clinical staff supports a range of specialties, including orthopedics, ophthalmology, minor plastics and local procedures.  

In addition to core clinical duties, the Professional Staff Nurse will assist in ensuring efficient surgical flow, perform in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors, perform other duties as assigned, and learn aspects of our sterile processing unit. They will also be required to learn to scrub and participate in surgical procedures as needed. Staff members are encouraged to contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety, workflow efficiency, and overall patient satisfaction.

This position will work weekday, daylight hours from 6:30am to 3:00pm. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required! 

Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the Nursing Career Ladder, based on their individual experience and education. The salary range listed is for the Senior Professional Staff Nurse level, which requires 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities:
