Fleet Operations Controller

The Fleet Sales Controller is responsible for managing and optimizing fleet sales operations within the company. This position ensures accurate forecasting, pricing, and contract execution for fleet customers, including corporate clients, rental companies, and government entities. The role supports strategic decision-making and ensures compliance with internal policies and market regulations.

 

STRATEGIC:

Fleet Sales Strategy Development: Define and implement strategies to grow fleet sales. Market Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze industry trends, Volume objectives, incentives and discounts, products for strategic offers and customer needs perspectives. Pricing & Profitability Planning: Develop pricing models and incentive structures that balance competitiveness with profitability. Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to align fleet sales goals with overall business objectives. Contract Strategy: Establish guidelines for fleet contract negotiations, tenders, and long-term agreements.

OPERATIONAL:

Sales Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs such as sales volume, margins, market share and customer satisfaction Deal & Contract Management: Review and approve fleet sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance according to corporate guidelines and DoA Commercial support: Provide full support to the commercial area in strategies to increase volume, market share and profitability. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all fleet transactions adhere to corporate guidelines.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:

Reporting & Insights: Develop regular reports for management, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities. Budget Oversight: Monitor fleet sales budgets and control costs related to incentives, pricing and product developments. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in fleet sales workflows and systems.

At least 10 years of experience in finance S&M,  fleet sales, automotive sales operations, or commercial finance.

3 – 5 years of minimum experience in similar controlling position in the automotive industry

Finance or similar graduated - Preferably with MD

 

Technical Knowledge:

Legacy systems: for managing orders, inventory, and invoicing as well as SAP for finance inquiries Fleet Management Software: Understanding of systems used by fleet operators Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong skills in Excel and PPT tools to generate management performance reports and dashboards. Compliance Tools: Familiarity with tools or modules that ensure regulatory and corporate policy compliance.
