Fleet Operations – Logistics and Upfit Manager

The Fleet Operations – Logistics and Upfit Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all logistical operations for Fleet customers and 3rd Party Body Vendor locations. This role requires a solid understanding of Fleet’s unique customer needs and processes, and the ability to work directly with fleet leadership to ensure successful execution of fleet business objectives.

 

Duties include:

Customer relationship management –responding to Fleet Management Companies and key customers on delivery requirements Provide strategic guidance both internally and externally to ensure best practice and processes are executed Vehicle Logistics – monitoring fleet network of vehicles in transit. Body Vendor coordination / communication – management and execution of internal and external processes related to upfit i.e. ship through Communication - coordinate and lead meetings with internal logistics stakeholders In transit Repair – working closely with corporate in transit repair team to ensure fleet units progressing through repair process and addressing any bottlenecks. Reporting – publishing of key documents for internal / external stakeholders Cross Functional Initiatives – alignment to drive operational efficiencies and maximize performance

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Minimum of 8+ years of operations, logistics, or related experience Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macro’s, etc.) Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excels in building positive working relationships

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in logistics / operations or a related field of study Experience within the automotive industry in an operations role Strong communication skills in negotiations and conflict management
