Job Description:
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operation of all fleet activities, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, driver management, fuel usage, and regulatory compliance.
This position will create a long-term transformation strategy, develop and implement fleet policies, procedures to improve efficiency, reduce risk and improve service and costs of MX PN.
The Fleet Manager will work with peers in Sales, Warehouse Tier2, MGS, Quality, Safety, Security and S&F to meet customer requirements while keeping expenditure within plan.
Lead transformational projects to enhance fleet operations, including the implementation of new technologies (telematics, route optimization tools), process automation, and cost-saving initiatives aligned MX PN strategic.
Lead CO2 projects, this can include adopting electric or hybrid vehicles, using alternative fuels, optimizing routes for fuel efficiency, and implementing eco-friendly driving practices. Reduce carbon emissions and overall environmental impact.
What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree Industrial Engineering,
Business Administration or related studies.
5+ years leading Fleet department through collaboration with suppliers and internal colleagues
5+ experience in related areas, such as supply chain, sales and transportation
Financial mindset - Experience in building P&L’s, Forecast.
Possesses an analytical understanding of the value and impact of information (managing and reporting data effectively)
Proven experience leading and developing a high performing team
Proactive, problem solving, team building and time management

Optimize maintenance costs and track performance metrics
Accountable for Fleet financial results for DTS
Owner of databases on fleet operations
Deliver and Lead VL initiatives (360° partnership) – 7% YO
Deliver Business Service levels
Manage fleet maintenance operations, ensuring delivery vehicles are well-maintained throughout their lifecycle
Coordinate with service providers and suppliers for preventative and corrective repairs
Create schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance
Lead, analyze, and evaluate options that will support business growth
Implementing sustainable practices such as electric vehicle integration and eco-driving training
Lead digital transformation of fleet tracking
Delivered cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Sales, Finance, and IT, to modernize fleet procurement, standardize KPI´s, and drive long-term cost efficiencies
Creates standard operating procedures within our distribution network and supervises these procedures are implemented
Development of team and talent pipeline
Engage, coach and inspire team with a visible leadership approach
Develop successor and drive discipline around development plans
Guide the day to day activities of the team and oversee the implementation of all strategies focuses on VL
Develops technical and analytical skills in the team
