Fleet Maintenance Manager
_The Fleet Maintenance manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance, service, and repair of the company's fleet assets to ensure that the fleet operates safely and legally, and that maintenance is performed to manufacturer and regulatory standards._ _Note: The hourly rate for this position is $35 - $42 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Learn more at https://skilled.peopleready.com/referral/ . **Responsibilities:** + Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs for all company vehicles and department equipment + Develop, implement, and maintain new procedures and practices as needed to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of maintenance services + Review work orders and modify schedules as appropriate to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of in-house and contracted vehicle maintenance services + Continuously monitor the status of contracted vehicle and equipment repairs + Meet with the third-party mechanics to discuss and inspect the work to evaluate the performance, quality, and productivity of all repairs + Continuously monitor the status of in-house vehicle and equipment repairs + Meet with in-house mechanics to discuss and inspect the work to evaluate the performance, quality, and productivity of all repairs + Provide technical and hands-on support to all maintenance staff and departments + Oversee and manage assigned fleet maintenance management software systems by entering work orders, entering PRs and POs, and constantly updating and validating parts inventory + Conduct constant parts inventory count cycles to ensure that all inventory is being properly stored and accounted for + Ensure that all fleet vehicles and department equipment comply with applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations and meet audit requirements + Evaluate the safety and efficiency of the fleet maintenance operations and implement new practices as needed + Review fleet records to determine replacement cycles and establish vehicle retirement schedules + Research and evaluate vehicles and department equipment for replacement consideration + Create specifications for all equipment, to be able to bid for replacements **Qualifications:** + 5 - 10 years of experience preferred + Must have hands-on, fleet maintenance experience with axel trucks + Must be proficient in DOT safety, rules, and regulations + A college degree in a related field (Transportation/Logistics) is a plus + Will be required to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, to write correspondence, memos, and schedule + To effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and fellow staff + Strong math skills required + Problem-solving, reasoning, and thinking outside the box will be constant requirements + In addition, we will apply common sense understanding to better serve our guests' needs TrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
